AWG Workshop – "Olympics, Let’s Fantasize!"

Open media Animation.

Join ASIFA-Colorado Workshops for an opportunity to animate a short film. Starting February 2nd, each Saturday from 9:30AM to 11:30AM through March 8, 2008 ASIFA-Colorado Workshop participants will get a chance to animate short films to be shown on top public media stations in China.

The AWG 2008 project theme is entitled "Olympics, Let’s Fantasize !" It is up to the participants to develop short films that center around their ideas of the Olympics. This will then be edited together with animations from the other groups and shown on Chinese television to help promote the Summer 2008 Olympic Games to be held in Beijing.

The workshop will be held at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design (RMCAD) in Lakewood, Colorado in the Animation Lab. The cost is $150 for all 6 weeks. Contact Ed Desroches if you have any questions or concerns. Space is limited and we will be taking students on a first come first serve basis.

ASIFA Colorado was established in 2001 as a non-profit organization devoted to cultivating and promoting the art, craft and profession of animation. ASIFA-Colorado is a regional chapter of the international organization, Association Internationale du Film d'Animation (ASIFA).

ASIFA-Colorado is proudly sponsored by the Scientific and Cultural Foundation District and RMCAD.
